9/21/2019 · This is a know issue introduced with GS 9.27. It was fixed with dvisvgm 2.7.2 (commit bc51951).If you’re using an older version of dvisvgm, you need an older version of Ghostscript in order to process PS and PDF files/specials.

When I use GS view the conversion works (book5.pdf a .jpg titles book5.jpg). I need it to do this using the command prompt though (because I need it to be part of another script). andreyman3d2k, It is possible that this prevents gs from accessing some special fonts in the EPS file.
